- mozabite : inhabitant of M'zab, of ibadite religion. Composed of five towns close one to the other, and two other more distant towns, the M'zab, often called the "pentapole", is located in the center of northern Sahara, its countytown being Ghardaia. M'zabites people are muslims, but heretical. They are called "kharidjotes" or "ibadites". Very harsh and sticklers for the rules, they are often designated as "desert puritans".
